Navan. Navan’s St Patrick’s Day parade will start at 2pm from the Enterprise Centre and follow the usual route from the Trim Road, to Railway Street, Canon Row, Kennedy Road and Market Square. A special effort is being made again this year to accommodate neurodivergent children and adults at the Navan St Patrick's Day Parade. Neurodiversity Navan and the Navan Shamrock Festival have come together for the second year to provide a Relaxed Parade Space and free children’s entertainment, during this year's festival activities. A sensory street on Canon Row is also being introduced this year. In NAVAN, there will be market stalls and music at Kennedy Plaza throughout the day on St Patrick's Day and children's entertainment including face painting, magicians and balloon modelling in the Community Centre on Trimgate Street from 12.30 to 4pm. The Slane St Patrick's parade promises to be a very colourful affair with street entertainment, cartoon charachters and the famous Transformer's Bumblebee. It starts at 3pm at St Patrick's National School and continues down through the town to the Navan Road. The Navan Shamrock Festival is a day-long event that takes place in the heart of Navan. The festival features a variety of activities, including live music, dance performances, and public parties. The festival is a great opportunity for locals and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the festive spirit of Saint Patrick’s Day. The lively atmosphere continues on March 14 with St. Patrick’s Shindig in Market Square, featuring electrifying performances from popular Irish bands The High Stool Prophets, Pure Blarney, and The Reillys.
